hi dawn; i don't know if this will help. this is from my family tree.my bloodline is cary/carey.john "the pilgrim "cary b. 1610 who came to america in 1634 married a elizabeth godfrey b.1644--d. 1680 her father was franis godfrey b.1600---d. 1684. her mother was elizabeth hall no dates on her.my thoughts and common sense tells me that francis godfrey was born in england.i will see if i can find that.

1--francis godfrey b--1600 in england---d. 1669 in plymouth,mass. married elizabeth hall b.1602 --d. 1680 m. --1621. they had 1 daughter elizabeth godfrey b.-1625--d.- 1860---m. 1644. i could find no mle births by francis and elizabeth.. that does not mean there were not any. i did not look to hard.
